What was I supposed to enjoy? You made me watch nearly 5 minutes of Christine Amanpour to see 10 seconds George Will? Did you post the right clip?
Also, these ads for captcha codes are extremely irritating. I have to hear a commercial now to comment? I don't see how you can expect people to sit through that.
My take exactly: "enjoy" wasn't an option on this clip. Rattner (emphasis on the Ratt) has the oppo to reiterate his opinion, while the girls echo him. Very little oppo for the conservatives on the panel to re-emphasize the basic argument. The usual liberal message expansion at the expense of factual argument from conservatives.
Me three. Not enjoyable to watch the MSM put the Tea Party and Republican so-called "intransigence" as the centerpiece of the country's financial problems.
If S&P likes France and Britain, then their rating system is beyond dumb. But didn't Britain institute a lot of cuts, also? But I digress, she is simply saying what liberal/progressives have been saying recently, they want us to have a more authoritarian government, ignoring the constitution, when there is a Dem in the White House of course. Her reading of S&Ps report suggest that S&P is out of their mind and useless.
Could someone please inform these economic mental midgets that tax rate increases result in a shrinking economy and lower revenues to the treasury. We need more tax payers not more taxes. Cut corporate tax rates and personal income tax rates and revenue to the treasury increases.
Does Rattner really believe that the repeal of Bush's tax cuts will generate $400 billion in revenues PER YEAR? Even if it did, that still leaves us $1-1.2 trillion deficit PER YEAR.
Where are the actual spending cuts that the Libs claimed that they offered?
I'm sure it's just riveting, but I'm not interested in any discussion that includes that Arab apologist female creature.
If we were to resume the sumptuary laws (a wise decision, in my view) she would be wearing sticks of dynamite as indicative of her political leanings.
When liberals win, elections have consequences. When conservatives win, its time to compromise with the minority. Liberal programs and policies are precedent and become the baseline, and conservatives cannot reverse the course of progress. This is the ratchet of politics. It's going to take a revolution to get this undone.
"The problem is the Constitution of the U.S. of A."
She nails the liberal view in a nutshell.
Reply to this commentLinkReport Abuse"Enjoy." Sorry, but I didn't. Will spoke for about 30 seconds in a 5 minute clip.
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseI'm not sure what there's to enjoy here. Like "Rickskin" points out he only spoke for 20-30 seconds...

Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseDidn't enjoy either.
Amamapour is a hack, repeating the big lie that not raising the debt ceiling would have caused a default.
I wish one of them would have called her on that.

Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseI saw just one conservative (Jason Chaffetz) in that clip, a RINO pundit and some far-left wackos.
Haven't watch any of the Alphabet Networks Sunday Morning shows in years, thanks for reminding me what a waste they are.

Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseWhy did I watch this? A totally predictable and unexciting bit of Sunday morning talking heads.

Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseYup, they're still playing "Let's Frame the Debate."
As mentioned above, I remember now why I stopped watching those shows.
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseEnjoy what exactly??? Did I miss something?
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseEnjoy what? The libs on the panel shouting down Chaffetz and Will? Snap out of it Ramesh...

Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseAnd what the f$%^@ is Cokie Roberts rambling about at the end?
Time to put that broad out to pasture.

Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseMy favorite part is where Amanpour turns to the tea party guy and says, "And you don't like compromise at all, right?"
