Today on Uncommon Knowledge, Charles Moore gets at the source of Margaret Thatcher’s courage and her uncommon approach to her job.

Well, it’s innate in her character… So in a way she’d done what you are not supposed to do in politics, which is, “If you’re in a hole, stop digging.” She was in the hole and went on digging in sense that she knew only by playing the game as hard as you could, could you win.
