You Can Go Home Again

by John J. Miller

The Miller family moved back to Michigan this summer, after almost 20 years in the D.C. area. I’ve just started as director of the Dow Journalism Program at Hillsdale College, where I’ll teach a few classes, oversee the student paper, manage internships and scholarships, and also remain a practicing writer (which means I remain on the staff of National Reviewin fact, I’ve been working the phones this week and hit the road on Sunday for my next magazine article.)

Today’s Detroit News — the first publication that ever paid me to write — runs my short essay on returning home.

The Corner

The one and only.
