Barone vs. Gallagher

Readers of Michael Barone’s Monday column on same-sex marriage, and of Maggie Gallagher’s Public Discourse essay on Tuesday on the same subject, might have felt a bit of whiplash upon reading the claims that same-sex marriage commands majority support (Barone) and that marriage only between a man and a woman commands strong majority support (Gallagher). Well, there are two different polls. Which one probably took a more accurate read of public opinion?  I take a look at both of them at First Things here.
