Perry’s Double-Digit Lead Persists

Rick Perry continues to top the polls by a double-digit margin, with 27 percent support to Mitt Romney’s 14 percent in a CNN/Opinion Research poll released today.

The results for the remainder of the field: Sarah Palin (10 percent), Michele Bachmann and Rudy Giuliani (9 percent), Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul (6 percent), Herman Cain and Gary Johnson (2 percent), and Jon Huntsman and Rick Santorum (1 percent).

Sans Rudy Giuliani and Sarah Palin, the results are:  Perry (32 percent), Romney (18 percent), Bachmann (12 percent), Gingrich (7 percent), Paul (6 percent), Cain (3 percent), Johnson (2 percent),  Huntsman, Santorum, and McCotter (1 percent).
