Ban Bikinis, Wax the Sphinx

The rise of Egypt’s Islamists spells trouble for a tourist industry already devastated by the revolution’s upheavals. Not only may bikinis be forbidden, but the Sphinx could soon be covered in wax. Still, the fact that the controversy has even come up is of interest. Martin Kramer has links and comments worth following.
