I went to dinner during the speech but left the TV on...tuned to one of those UFO are real shows. Those shows are just about as anchored in reality as is the POTUS' speeches.

Also, I wanted to make sure my viewing time was clearly allocated to something other than the POTUS' speech. I didn't want to be accidentally counted in his ratings.

Remember when President put his wedding ring is in for repair

Since when does a plain wedding band need repairs, along with your watch, for a whole month?
Another piece falls into place. In a press conference last week Obama was not wearing his wedding ring nor was he wearing his watch.
When noticed, his staff said his ring was out for repairs. No reason was given for the missing watch.
So it's just a coincidence that Muslims are forbidden from wearing jewelry during the month of Ramadan.
Can't possibly be that, because although he hasn't gone to a Christian church service since entering the White House,
we know he's a committed Christian "cause he said so during his campaign!" ...........

To be truthfull both paries have alot to be desired. the demo’s are giving our country away to legals and illegals, and the Repubs just don’t know how to let people live the way they want, to hippocritical for me. Neither party works, so in 2012 lets vote for the true independants, and send the rest of the liars, cheats, hippocrits,theives home once and for all.
Then we can as Americans demand term limits for Congressmen, and Senators, which gives us the power back to throw out the trash more often and take our country back.

How to FIX CONGRESS:

The 28th Ammendment — Will not be passed unless the People demand it….and consistently make it an issue.
This is something I will fight for.
The 26th amendment
(granting the right to vote for 18 year-olds) took only 3 months & 8 days to be ratified! Why? Simple!
The people demanded it. That was in 1971… before computers, before e-mail, before cellphones, etc.
Of the 27 amendments to the Constitution, seven (7) took 1 year or less to become the law of the land… all because of public pressure.
Congressional Reform Act of 2011:
1. No Tenure / No Pension. A Congressman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they are out of office.
2. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security (SS). All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the SS system immediately. All future funds flow into the SS system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.
3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.
4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.
5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.
6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose
on the American people.
7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen are void effective 1/1/12. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen.
Congressmen made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and back to work. THIS IS HOW YOU FIX CONGRESS!
