Wiping Israel Off the Map — Literally

Anne Bayefsky notices something odd about the logo of the Palestinian U.N. mission:

Hmmm. Not exactly the ’67 borders with “mutually agreed swaps,” is it?

I wonder if my lefty friends in the Mainline Christian denominations who so boldly champion the poor, downtrodden Palestinians will ever get that the plan was to obliterate Israel.

Naaahhhhhhhh.

I am not sure who is worse, the Palestinians or their dupes and useful idiots.

CT NRO MAN:

You give those leftists to whom you refer an inordinate benefit of doubt to call them "dupes" and "useful idiots" for siding 100% with the "Palestinians", whom such leftists look upon as victims with a stronger relative moral right to life, or at least a convincing case for boatloads of sympathy.

You should consider that your leftist friends believe as deeply as the Palestinian Islamists do -- that Jews have no right to live in the Middle East.

And, CT:

Some of those leftists, to be sure, are intellectual acolytes of the likes of Margaret Sanger, and harbor the notion that Jews have no right to live -- period.

Never forget, right? I like to remind people that what they should never forget is that which has been forgotten by all but a handful of us -- that the Holocaust was perpetrated, financed and organized entirely by European socialists from one end of the continent to the other.

There are four nations in Europe not responsible, and it's fitting they're not on the continent -- Wales, Scotland, Britain and Ireland.

I agree with madisonian, most of those liberals are well aware of what the real aim of the palestinians is. And they agree with that aim.

Why people refuse to take Islamists at their word is incomprehensible.

Not surprisingly, the "Palestinians" are quite candid about their intentions. Too bad those intentions are ignored by all the most important people.

This whole concept of "Palestinian" is but a fraud, a complete fiction. The term did not even exist in regular parlance until the time when the British government started to lay the groundwork for the re-creation of the State of Israel after WWI.

The whole purpose of the term is to create a counter-factual historical narrative to deny morally the right of Jews to live in the Middle East.

Funny -- Muslims and Jews lived for hundreds of years in peace in the Middle East, until the dishonorably discharged soldier and bad artist from Austria -- Adolf Hitler -- showed up in prominence on the continent to the north in the Vader Land.

So, in a very real sense, this renewed conflict -- which had laid dormant and was a non-issue for centuries, is the legacy of European socialists.

Further proof -- provided to us daily, in this context -- that socialism does nothing eventually but spread misery and mayhem.

Just a slight difference of a number. They plan to get back to the '47 borders, not the '67 borders.

Then they should have a map of Trans Jordan, no?

With NO separate state of "Palestine" in existence?

That would be '47 borders.

That's a notion to which King Abdullah would strongly object -- the notion of repatriating the "Palestinians" who are considered refugees mainly for two reasons:

1) Arabs don't want them living in their countries;

2) If they don't let Palestinians live in their countries, they can use the issue as a curmudgeon against Israel's existence.

While I am in awe of Israel's restraint over the years, I am less and less inclined to expect or require it.

Was it designed by Hellen Thomas?

More likely, it was designed by Rashid Khalidi, Bill Ayres and Bernadine Dohrn -- B. Hussein Obama's good friends and professional colleagues.

The curious thing is that according to the map, the Golan Heights are part of "Palestine" too. I wonder if teh Syrian know that. Lol.

It's not just a map of Israel, it's also a dagger.

Perhaps someone can help me out here, but why is this odd? Do we not already know 'Palestinians' seek a future without an Israeli state? They admit it.
