Look, over there! Is that Obama donor and J.P. Morgan big cheese Jamie Dimon in a one-on-one meeting with Mitt Romney??
Dimon, a lifelong Democrat who was rumored to be on Obama’s short list for treasury secretary before he settled on Tim Geithner, met privately with Romney on Tuesday morning before a fund-raiser at Brasserie 8¹/2 hosted by Highbridge Capital, a JPMorgan-owned hedge fund.
Dimon, who was spotted “in a discreet one-on-one” discussion with Romney, cannot publicly endorse a candidate because he sits on the board of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. But he donated to Democratic candidates in 2008 and privately supported Obama.
More on Page Six.
Wonder how many book revisions a big donation will fetch?

I guess Romney couldn't meet with Satan since he was apparently booked at that time.
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseRomney, the Democrats favorite Republican.
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseThe first three commenters have it exactly right, Dan. This should be the lead/headline to this post, not the laughable idea that Big Money is going to abandon Progressive Democrats.
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseThis confirms my fears of Romney. Maybe Dimon will meet with Huntsman next?
This election is not about compromise, or "working with my friends across the aisle". This election is about Obamacare, about "canceling the next congressional election" (Governor Beverly Perdue, (D) NC). This election is about the return to rugged individualism, the quality that built this country. This election is about taking back the Republican Party from the ruling class.
Let's forget about being "liked" by the media, independents and democrats. Let's stand up for our principles. Let's compromise like democrats in passing Obamacare.
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseI'm not nearly as disturbed by the news as I am by that post headline. WTH?
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseJust shows that Perry is right that Mittens is Obama's "Mini-Me". Also the endorsement of Michael Moore for Huntsmann should be a death blow to his already catatonic campaign.
