Re: Public Sours on Occupy Wall Street

Text

As Brian notes, the voting public (including most independents) is losing its taste for the Occupy Wall Street “movement,” according to this recent Qunnipiac poll.

Washington Examiner’s Philip Klein makes an interesting find in the cross-tabs, looking at how support for OWS breaks down by income group. The results aren’t exactly what you’d expect of “movement” claiming to speak for “the 99 percent” of Americans, and railing against the fat cat “1 percent.” (Working class v. the wealthy, etc.) On the other hand, they’re pretty much exactly what you’d expect with regard to this “movement.”

More here.
