 Manhattan magazine is a glossy magazine in the Modern Luxury stable delivered for free in parts of the borough.  This is an extract from the Editor’s Note of November 2011. After writing about the pleasure of “giving to those less fortunate”, the author turns his attention to OWS:

Then there is the spirit of community and purpose among the motivated people staging Occupy Wall Street. They’re not giving, they’re not receiving, but the nationwide spread of their activism must be incredibly gratifying to those camped out in Zuccotti Park.
