Svetlana Alliluyeva, R.I.P.

by John Derbyshire

Stalin’s daughter has died.

I remember her defection. She seemed to be on the telly a lot. She came across as sad and not very bright. Malcolm Muggeridge struck up a friendship with her during her time in Britain. I recall her going easy on Dad in her book, but it was a long time ago and AP may be more accurate.
