Politico’s Darren Samuelsohn reports:
Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel said Thursday that he’s open to testifying before a House panel investigating Solyndra.
“Listen, if I’m called, I will testify,” Emanuel, the former White House chief of staff, told reporters during an unrelated press conference, according to NBC Chicago.
Rep. Joe Barton (R-Texas) told a Texas radio station on Tuesday that Emanuel would probably be called in to testify about the bankrupt California solar company. Later Tuesday, however, Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Fred Upton said he had not addressed the issue.
