Bill Clinton Now Tied to Corzine’s MF Global

Human Events reports:

A former MF Global employee accused former president William J. Clinton of collecting $50,000 per month through his Teneo advisory firm in the months before the brokerage careened towards its Halloween filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

Teneo was hired by MF Global’s former CEO Jon S. Corzine to improve his image and to enhance his connections with Clinton’s political family, said the employee, who asked that his name be withheld because he feared retribution.

“They were supposed to be helping Corzine improve his image as a CEO—I guess you can tell how that went,” he said. Corzine resigned as CEO and chairman November 4.

Before Corzine joined MF Global in May 2010, the firm was a smart and well-run commodities broker, a culture that was turned upside-down by his leadership style, he said.

“The traders would be shaking their heads,” he said. “They would come back to their desk and say, ‘Well, I thought we were going to do this—but Corzine would come by and do something else all by himself,’” he said.

The Teneo contract with MF Global lasted at least five months, he said. “The board cancelled it after Corzine resigned.”

Is that the same Bill Clinton whose spouse is making a mess in the State Department?

The very same William Jefferson who failed to take Osama bin Laden into US Custody?

The one who gave us another horrid Bay of Pigs in Somalia, who even gave us the disastrous Gorelick Wall?

The first US President held in contempt by his own judicial appointee, for trying to rig his own sexual harassment trial?

The one who gave us an historic tax increase, tried with his wife to Nationalize Health Care, fought against Welfare Reform, appeased the monstrous Arafat and nutty North Korea?

The same one who rang circles around a befuddled Newt Gingrich when he was still Speaker?

The same disgraced Beltway Celebrity who recently offered a positive endorsement of Newt Gingrich?

The Gingrich examples are pure Clintonian triangulation and psy-ops.

You forgot to mention his close ties to George Sr.
Hope they do bring in Clinton...maybe then we can get to the Bush criminal family.

To steal a line from former governor Kean..."Clinton and Corzine, perfect together!"

Corzine must be tried and made accountable. There are "nobodies" doing time for relatively minor infractions; the law shouldn't suddenly become elastic when a "somebody" is involved. This is an easy cause for conservatives to take up, and we should be hammering away at it.

As horrible as he was as a senator and governor, Corzine had an impressive, up-from-his-boostraps back-story. It was his hedonism and taste for license that presumably made him a liberal. What a waste.

It's for disclosures like this that we have shredders.
