Affirmative Action Debate at Heritage This Friday

Text

This Friday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C., the Federalist Society and Heritage are cosponsoring a debate on whether the Supreme Court should grant review in Fisher v. University of Texas, a case that challenges that school’s use of racial and ethnic preferences in undergraduate admissions.

Gail Heriot, who is a law professor and a member of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, will join me in arguing that the Court should grant review; on the other side will be James Ho, who has helped represent the university in this litigation, and Loren Alikhan, who is counsel for the League of United Latin American Citizens.

You can read more about the event here, and we hope you can join us.
