‘Liar’ Means Lawbreaker

Newt Gingrich flat-out accused Mitt Romney of lying about whether he was coordinating with independent PACs that have been running ads in Iowa.

While it is the accusation of “liar” that is drawing the attention, it should be noted that Gingrich is also accusing Romney of breaking the law, since what Newt accuses Governor Romney of lying about would also violate the Federal Election Campaign Act.

A charge of lawbreaking should be made seriously, or not at all.
