Wow. As much as I dislike Sununu-that's 'Don't worry Mr. President, Souter will be A-OK, John Sununu-he really spanks the three liberal stooges of ChrisHowardGene in this clip. Nice.

Normally I refuse to watch Chris Matthews -- it's bad for the blood pressure -- but watching John Sununu in this piece was *fabulous*. Well said, sir, well said!

Leaving aside the myriad of Romney's shortcomings...Sununu just eviscerates Matthews and Robinson. Fantastic. A classic.

Sununu should have told them "either Eugene Robinson leaves or I do, because I'm not taking any questions from him after he attacked the Santorums over their response to the death of their child."

Don't give that guy ANY respect.

Romney surrogate John Sununu confronts Obama surrogate Chris Matthews.

Good God, are we seriously forced to sit here and listen to partisan mouth-foamers like Matthews and Eugene Robinson get in on Huntsman's tut-tutting about "attitudes like that" and "divisiveness," when their profession is calling the other party crazy, stupid, racist and corrupt on a daily basis??

I also think if Matthews was across the table from Sununu in his prime Crossfire days, Sununu would have removed his spleen and showed it to him, figuratively speaking.

Claiming that Romney is career politician and that he began running for presidency after 1994 and having been in political pursuits since 1994 is silly. He was CEO of Bain Capital until 1998 an then spending years 1999-2002 CEO of 2002 Winter Olympics Organizing Committee. He wasn't obviously a career politician during those years.

Matthews needs to watch Romney's interview w Morning Joe before saying he's never called for reform of campaign finance law External Link

I find Sununu tiresome. Yes he was a fun attack dog but let's not lose track of the real picture. He's a Romney surrogate and Romney is basically George Bush without the accent.

Just 3 years later and the GOP is ready to hand the crown back to a neocon.

Sad really.

We have to call them out every time they lie, or ask unfair questions, or misrepresent. Ignoring them is no longer an option. DaTechGuy today brilliantly calls out Maureen Dowd on a lie about what Santorum said at an event and then turns it into a very profound question. A brilliant post by him (I shamelessly link to it): External Link

Robinson worked in an eye roll, too.

Hello America!!

Love it. And did you notice the little lapdog affirmative action employee Eugene Robinson, uhing and uming his way to a pre-written question? He sure was a force to be reckoned with.

On another note, why does the left always want to harken back to the past? The tingler talked about the 60's. Obama and his minions describe him as JFK - 50 years ago, Truman - 60 years ago, FDR - 70 years ago and finally Teddy Roosevelt - 100 years ago!!! What happened to the future? Another TV ad that writes itself.

What? None of the Republicants talk about Ronny Reagan? The man's rolling in his grave watching these new day right Republicants. Yes, I voted for Reagan. Listen to his videos today and then listen to the Republicants of today...what a difference!

You gotta love how Mathews repeatedly refers to Sununu as Romney's "surrogate." It's also maddening to constantly hear the left moan about how divided the country is. Their idea of a lack of division is when everyone agrees 100% with Obama.

The time has to come where conservative candidates aren't held up to be skewered by the liberal press agenda- none of these guys sits around a panel when the democrats are in the pot and pulls this petty witch hunt BS.

Yes, and that time will come when they know our guys will talk right back and come away the winner of the exchange.

Sunnunu is the guy who sold George HW Bush on David Souter, who wound up ensuring that Roe Vs Wade was not overturned. And now he's supporting and advising Romney, who we are assured will nominate good solid justices.

Sununu is a surrogate according to Mr. Chris. But Mr. Chris considers himself above it all. Perfect example of self delusion. Mr. Chris might as well be on the democratic payroll.

Romney "Surrogate" Gov. John Sununu just rolled Matthews and Robinson.

Classic. Really puts Huntsman in proper context as well.

Matthews looks so bad, so truly bad.

All I can think of is padded rooms and professional care when Matthews is referenced.
