The New Yorker Needs a Dictionary

Text

The folks at Powerline have posted an amusing e-mail exchange between the Melissa Cohlmia, Director of Corporate Communication at Koch Companies Public Sector, and Pam McCarthy, deputy editor at The New Yorker.  I don’t know whether the error about which Ms. Cohlmia complains merits a correction, but it is quite amusing to see Ms. McCarthy’s effort to deny the plain meaning of the word “preemptive.”
