Free Speech? Really?

Newt’s claim that NBC’s decision to bar applause and cheering at the debate violated the audience’s “free speech” is barmy. You can make an argument for or against the policy, but free speech rights have nothing to do with any of it. When movie theaters, concert halls and libraries ask people to be quiet are they violating anyone’s free speech rights?
