Today’s Between the Covers podcast is with the novelist Vince Flynn, author of Kill Shot. We discuss how his protagonist Mitch Rapp became a lethal CIA superagent as well as the appeal of origin stories. We also talk about Flynn’s bout with cancer. The good news is that he’s doing well right now–but listen in for the whole story.

Every member of my family (all 5 of us) thank you for this interview with Vince Flynn.

All of us have been with Vince since his first book. His recent bout with cancer had given us a sense of impending doom. Given that my wife and I both work in the medical profession, we have been extremely worried about his health - and what we believed was the inevitable outcome.

In response to your question about his health, I found Vince to be very upbeat and confident.. He sounded good.

We are very hopeful.

Thanks again.
