If contraception is a moral question, why do virtually all Catholics use birth control? Is it possible it's not so much a moral issue as a political wedge issue being used to manipulate rank and file Catholics? How much respect for the faith does that show, Ms. Lopez?

And at least Blaine just targeted Catholics and not organized religion itself.

Maybe Obama's next move could be to denounce Rum, Romanism and Rebellion.
