Santorum preaches populism:

‘Rick Santorum has never been considered a go-to guy for Big Business on Capitol Hill. After all, some corporate types are nervous about his blue-collar roots, his populist proclivities, and his emphasis on religious issues.” So began a Business Week story in January 2006. At the time, Santorum was scrambling to raise money for his reelection campaign against Democrat Bob Casey, a race he ultimately lost. Six years later, however, the perception persists. And at least one corporate type — Mitt Romney — is nervous about Santorum’s rising Rust Belt appeal.

I'll take Santorum A+ NRA Rating, 100% Pro-Life; 90% Lifetime ACU rating over Romney any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

I find it mildly amusing that your screen name is that of Ayn Rand's libertarian hero while Santorum basically called libertarians a bunch of crazy anarchists.

Yes, John Galt is a great fan of the man who wants to use the presidency to lecture married people to only have sex for procreative purposes. I hope Santo starts with Newt and Calista.

"Working Man" is a kick ass rock anthem. In other words, who would you rather crack an ice cold beer with--Slick Rick or Willy Mitt?
