58th Speaker of the House and 2012 GOP presidential candidate, Newt Gingrich makes the case for his candidacy, explains why he’s not a Washington insider, and his describes his vision for his first term. On the agenda: gaining energy independence, ending the war on religion, balancing the budget, and repealing and replacing ObamaCare. Also, why he is temperamentally suited for the highest office.
Is this sleazeball still in the race? Doesn't this lifelong D.C. insider chrony realize that his pathetic RINO candidacy and his serial lying have been rejected, thoroughly, by primary voters -- no matter how much $$ his Las Vegas gal pal pumps into his dying campaign?
When he's good, he's very good. Definitely the highest risk/highest reward candidate.
He's the only one who comes close to grasping the dramatic things that need to be done to get us back to some stability (Except for Ron Paul, whose foreign policy views are disqualifying IMO).
Also, I have a master plan to become fabulously wealthy by copyrighting the term 'fundamentally'.
Wow! As I am depressed about the current state of the GOP race, I am
once again reminded that there is a candidate that has thought long and deep about the problems confronting us.
I have no idea about Newt's poliitcal prospects but will contribute so that these ideas can continue to be aired.
Uncommon Knowledge is one of the best features of NRO or for that matter of the Hoover Institution. But this kind of thing is completely beneath its mission and a complete waste of time. Gingrich can buy ad time on TV like anyone else. For that matter he is utterly hopeless as a presidential candidate, and after his populist anti rich outbursts not qualified even for any leadership role in the Republican party.
Please give us real thought on actual subjects, not this self promoting campaign lunacy...
Very interesting interview. Newt gives very specific solutions. Romney only gives fuzzy talking points and Santorum only gets specific on social issues.
Yet again, another compelling, cerebral interview from Mr. Robinson and brilliant political explanations from the Speaker. Speaker Gingrich channels the conservative intellectualism of greats such as Buckley and Friedman and the willpower of a Reagan or Thatcher. Many thanks for a splendid interview!

Go away Gingrich -- you are only helping Obama.

Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseA grudging interview with Newt ... NRO must be losing subscribers at a rather significant clip. Too little, too late.
