Since Rick Santorum is a no-show at Hillsdale, I thought I’d plug some alternative entertainment. I’ll be out Hillsdale way myself next month, but, before that, I’ll be Down Under for my 2012 Australian tour, now extended to Perth and Adelaide due to overwhelming demand – well, okay, semi-whelming demand. It starts in a week’s time, and, if you’re one of The Corner’s many antipodean readers, you can book tickets through the IPA or, for the Sydney gig, from my old pals at The Spectator.
I’ll be talking about the death of free speech, twilight of the west, all the usual fun stuff – you can get a taste of the cut of my jib from my video message in support of Aussie columnist Andrew Bolt last year. Say what you like, but I have a wider vocabulary than the once and (if he has his way) future Prime Minister Kevin Rudd (language warning).
Have fun down there, Mark. You get around more than anyone except Michelle Obama. Of course the difference is you don't do your extravagant travelling on the taxpayer's dime. I hear she's off for Vail. It's been something like a whole month since she was in Hawaii for 17 days, so she needs a break.
