Hillsdale College is almost alone among colleges and universities in making its students take a course on the U.S. Constitution. Now you can take it as well, via Constitution 101, an online 10-week course:
In this course, you can:
-
watch lectures from the same Hillsdale faculty who teach on campus;
-
study the same readings taught in the College course;
-
submit questions for weekly Q&A sessions with the faculty;
-
access a course study guide;
-
test your knowledge through weekly quizzes;
-
and upon completion of the course, receive a certificate from Hillsdale College.
Professors who are much smarter than me deliver the lectures, but I’m the host of the weekly Q&A sessions.
It’s like being at Hillsdale College itself, except that you aren’t buried in snow on an isolated campus in rural Michigan.

Just finished week 1 of Constitution 101 and can not wait for Monday when the materials for week 2 are released. What a wonderful free opportunity Hillsdale is providing, this teacher would highly recommend this course. What a shame that other institutions of "higher learning" don't share a similar commitment to teaching and understanding this beautiful piece of political art.
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseIt's very interesting and informative if anyone is considering it, but wants a preview. It's a college lecture, broadcast-mode so far with Dr Arnn, so watch it on a larger screen and jot notes to stay mentally engaged.
I wonder if they'll mail me a test and some credits when I'm done...
