What exactly is the charge of hypocrisy here?

You must be new around here. The standard line is that if you believe in raising taxes on the wealthy, or believe that any rules unfairly favor the wealthy, you must also hate the wealthy, and thus if you mingle with or raise money from the wealthy, you are a hypocrite.

Here in the People's Republic of Massachusetts, taxpayers have an option on their state income tax forms. They can pay the set rate of 5.3%, or--if they feel guilty about their own wealth--can check a box that lets them pay 5.85%. You can annually count the number of higher payers on two hands.
I'd bet the OccuMom hasn't paid the higher rate. That's hypocrisy.

That's actually not hypocrisy. Advocating for higher taxes and donating to the government are two different things. Now if someone advocated for higher taxes, then cheated on those taxes, that would be a hypocrite.

Why do lefties love shrill harridan women so much? I mean, it's not like it's impossible to make a strong political point without screeching.

When your position makes sense, it can be explained sensibly. That's why liberals always resort to screeching.

The ad is halfway good. Draping the Occupigs around her neck is very good. Linking her with Hollywood is less effective here in MA, simply many films are shot here due to several tax incentives(believe it or not, there ARE tax incentives even in the People's Republic). The Brownies should concentrate on the former and skip the latter.
