I always enjoyed his appearances on cable news, and visited his website regularly. He'd been appearing a lot lately on Piers Morgan's CNN show. Piers seemed to have developed a affection and admiration for Andrew.
I will miss him so much. He was fearless. RIP, Andrew, knowing your admirers will carry on the fight.
Go to Cafe Express - I think a Throw Obama's Palm Tree Overboard Tee-Shirt with Andrew Breitbart 2012 would be a wonderful tribute. A great follow up to his CPAC 2012 speech only a few weeks ago. We chatted briefly at CPAC (he always called out to me "Hey Mother Goose!" (I'd given him my dvds where I played MG for his youngest, William F Buckley Breitbart.) My heart goes out to his wife, Susie and his kids.
So very sad...
Why do Republicans profess that the 10 Commandments are the bedrock of our laws and morality and then pretend about the one about not bearing false witness against your neighbor doesn't exist?
He lied about people and hurt people, shamelessly and wantonly, for political and financial gain.
Jonah, between your unplanned, but poignant interview on Fox News this morning and this The Corner post, you have done a wonderful job of honoring the memory of one of conservative thoughts great voices (along with yours).
Thank you for expressing how many of us feel today.
So what's the over/under on the number of years that have to pass for Andrew to be held up by liberals as an example of how reasonable conservatives used to be?
I have been in a funk contemplating the death of this great man....while I still feel the loss, your reference to Mr. Robert's, and that wonderful ending...., well, I am better now...
Perfect sentiment Jonah. I think nothing would please Andrew more than if we all threw the left's palm tree off the deck. If we can't be Andrew Breitbart, maybe we can manage Ensign Pulver.
Yes, Andrew was exactly like Mr. Roberts, in the way they both lived; in the way they both died.

YES. Perfect. I want a shirt!
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseI remember Mr. Breitbart stating recently he was in possession of some footage that would be damaging for the Obama November efforts.
A solid legacy is one that carries forward despite the lowering of an ensign.
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseI think that getting anew t-shirt is a fine way to react to Breitbart's death and well reflects the depth of Mr Goldberg's wisdom.
Perhaps having the inscription slanted toward the right would be in the spirit of it all.
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseI meant Cafe Press...they make up special teeshirts

Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseHe lied about nobody. The only people who got hurt by his stings, were those who were themselves lying.
What is it about liberals that they can't handle the truth?

Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseHopefully, all of us.
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseWe are all Ensign Pulver now.

Thank you Ensign Goldberg

Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseWhy stop at throwing Obama's palm tree overboard?
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbusePerfect, just plain perfect video for Breitbart. This really hit me hard today but seeing that video made me feel better. And YES I want that t-shirt!
Reply to this commentLinkReport AbuseJonah, Just watched your interview with Hemmer on Fox -- it was moving and graceful. Condolences to you as well as to Breitbart's family.
