Re: Sheriff Joe’s Birther Posse

Kevin: Arpaio’s birther foolishness is only the latest sheriff malfunction in Arizona. Last month we got to see Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu’s half-naked photos sent to his Mexican-immigrant boyfriend, and a year ago Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik leapt to blame the Giffords shooting on his own state being “the mecca for prejudice and bigotry.” Maybe it’s the water, or lack thereof.

On the other hand, Cochise County at least has Sheriff Larry Dever, who’s not a showboater or political opportunist.

What, if anything do your comments mean? Look like ad hominem attacks by faint inference at best. Do you have something substantive to say? If so, say that. Leave these sort of assertions for Bill Mahr to utter.

Mark and Kevin:

Sheriff Arpaio made very specific findings.

See here: External Link

Take the time to actually read the report. Do you have any specific responses to any of the findings?

When conservatives challenged Dan Rather's "fake but accurate" documents about President Bush - did you attack the conservative messenger then too?

Not sure how one sheriff is indicative of others, but whatever, Mark. No one said you couldn't apply your broad bush in indict others at the expense of one or two. Moreover, just for curiosity sake, could you provide the side-by-side comparison with other states county sheriffs.

Obviously you must have that at your fingertips, right, or you wouldn't make such a comment. Right, Mark?

I don't consider myself a "birther," believing instead it doesn't really make any difference where Obama was born. He is now the president and the only way that will change is for the voters to reject him in November.

However, Sheriff Arpaio is one of the few long-term elected officials in Arizona who has steadfastly done the job to which he was elected, in spite of opposition and harassment from not only his local political opposition, but from the mighty Federal government and even our President. I'll give him latitude for his investigation into the possibility that "Obama's documents may not be in order."

Fascinating!

Now, exactly how does this revelation make Arpaio's case any less salient or compelling?

Az. has a grp. of excellent Sheriffs' and except for the traitor in Pima Co. (Dupe nik; the name says it all), they all adhere to their oaths. Babeu may be gay but is still a patriot, which is more than I can say for this Mark character. Arpaio, Dever and Babeu have stood toe-to-toe with this rogue federal govt. headed up by the Imposter and his boy Holder, the thug. All real Americans need to get behind these patriots in the upcoming Civil War that the admin. is creating. For more info go to Sheriff Mack's Constitutional Posse and learn what our roles need to be in this soon to be situation. Then start stocking up. Guns, Gold and Groceries. Lots of em' and don't forget the ammo!
