Re: Romney and Santorum’s Weaknesses Remain


The exit-poll data that should have the Romney campaign worrying the most aren’t the numbers showing evangelical opposition to him. It’s a worry, sure, but if he is the nominee a lot of evangelicals are going to find that he looks better in comparison to Obama than he looks in comparison to Santorum or Gingrich. The bigger problem is Romney’s weakness among people making less than $100,000 a year, a weakness he also showed in most of the primaries in 2008.
