D.C. Cab

by Jonah Goldberg

Sometimes when you have to announce you have “zero tolerance” for something it suggests that you’ve had somewhat greater than zero tolerance until now. In Washington D.C. attacks on passengers by cabbies have become a problem. Apparently, by the end of the year, passengers will have access to “panic buttons” in case they get cornered by their drivers. Even if you don’t care about this story, I recommend watching it for the D.C. Taxi commissioner’s hair alone.
