Romney: ‘I’d Clean House’


On The Laura Ingraham Show this morning, Mitt Romney explained to host Laura Ingraham how he would fix our scandal-ridden government:

I’d clean house. The right thing to do is remove people, who have violated the public trust and put their playtime and personal interest ahead of the interest of the nation.

He also clarified what he meant when he said that Fox News was watched by the “true believers” and that “we need to get the independents and the women”:

I want to make sure we — I realize that, of course, Fox has a lot of independent voters, a lot of democrats watch. Our message — in a network that is fair and balanced, there are some networks that don’t give us fair play, and we go to put our people there, our surrogates there.
