Poll: Biden Favorability Tilts Negative

For the first time since becoming Obama’s VP pick/court jester, Joe Biden has seen his favorability rating dip into the negative. A new Gallup poll puts him at 42/45, and 37/47 among independents, down from a high of 59/29 overall just after the 2008 election.

This Politico story notes that he’s been used on the campaign trail to make some of the harsher attacks on Romney, and includes a nice reel of top Biden gaffes.
