At a fundraiser yesterday, President Obama again blamed his predecessor for the nation’s woes:
I love listening to these guys give us lectures about debts and deficits. I inherited a trillion dollar deficit. We had a surplus. They turned it into a deficit, built it into a structural deficit that lasts for decades, and — isn’t that something?

If Mitt Romney is elected he will “inherit” a deficit of approximately $1.2 trillion and a debt of $16.3 trillion. What are the odds that if any economic measures show improvement three and a half years into a Romney administration, Obama will claim credit?
