New Poll Gives Obama Double-Digit Lead

A new Bloomberg poll shows Barack Obama 13 points ahead of Mitt Romney among likely voters, 53 percent to 40 percent. The margin of error is 3.6 percentage points. Among all those surveyed by the poll (including both likely voters and those not likely to vote), 38 percent were Democrats or leaned that way, while 33 percent were Republicans or leaned toward the GOP.

The poll is certainly an outlier: the Gallup daily poll is showing Romney at 46 percent and Obama at 45 percent, while Rasmussen’s daily poll shows Romney at 47 percent to Obama’s 45 percent.
