This morning, David Gregory showed Marco Rubio footage of himself, appearing on Meet the Press a couple of months ago, and affirming that under no circumstances would he be on the Republican ticket. Gregory, clearly pleased with himself for coming up with what he saw as a novel way of asking Rubio about the veepstakes, tried to get Rubio to stand by or disavow the remarks.

Rubio wouldn’t commit either way.
