Solyndra’s Glass Tubes Used in Berkeley Art Installation

The Bay Area’s NBC affiliate reports that defunct Solyndra’s glass tubes are being repurposed; they’re now a central feature of UC Berkeley’s botanical garden. The director of the botanical garden, Paul Licht, is upset by the dust-up generated by this costly work of art; he notes that the garden is a “very PC place, without controversy.”
