God and Man at Yale, the Sequel

by John J. Miller

Yesterday’s New York Times Book Review carried a front-page critique of Nathan Harden’s Sex and Man at Yale. The reviewer, Hanna Rosin, didn’t like this book by a talented young conservative author, but then what else would you expect? (In the new issue of The Atlantic, Rosin has a piece that claims hookup culture on campus empowers women.) Here at NRO, we posted a special edition of Between the Covers on Thursday: a podcast interview with Harden. We discuss why Yale invites pornographers to speak on campus, how things could go so wrong at one of America’s leading schools, and whether he intended to write an update of WFB’s God and Man at Yale. (The foreword to Harden’s book, by the way, was written by Christopher Buckley.)
