Family Ties

by Andrew Stuttaford

The BBC interviews the  grandson of that old butcher, Trotsky. It’s an interesting enough piece, and concludes as follows:

Volkov, himself now a widower, has turned the old family house into a museum. It was, he says, his “duty” to honour the memory of his grandfather.

So the killer’s grandson regrets grandad’s killing but not, it seems, his killings.
