“One of the big critiques of conservatives of the media this week is there hasn’t been enough scrutiny of the President and his conduct around all this. I think that’s absolutely fair and right to point out. Although, if you look at George Bush after 9/11, a much bigger crisis obviously, but the press wasn’t inclined, and Democrats and Republicans weren’t inclined, he made plenty of mistakes. In times of a national security crisis there’s a tendency to cut the president some slack.”
