Chris Wallace asked Robert Gibbs why President Obama has carved out time for Whoopi Goldberg and her colleagues on The View, but not for world leaders in town this past week for the United Nations General Assembly. 

Pointing out that the president spoke to Egyptian and Libyan leaders this week, Gibbs noted that “We don’t need a meeting in Washington just to confer with world leaders.”
