One of the many great fables told about this administration is that Hillary Clinton is a “great” secretary of state. She’s received fawning coverage in Foreign Affairs and other establishment organs. This is the person who described Bashar Assad as a “reformer,” who chewed out Netanyahu for 40 minutes for building apartments in his own capital (a capital her department is at pains to deny), who “reset” relations with Russia only to watch impotently as Russia blocks all attempts to halt the massacres in Syria, and who has, with her boss, been criminally negligent about preventing a world catastrophe in the form of an Iranian bomb.
USA Today reports that the State Department ignored repeated threats to our diplomats in Libya and denied requests for increased security even after a recent attempt on the life of the British ambassador.
Will this quell talk of Clinton’s greatness?
