Race Tight in Wisconsin

Text

In Wisconsin, President Obama is just three points ahead of Mitt Romney, 49 percent to 46 percent in a new NBC/WSJ/Marist poll. That might be why Obama is making time to visit the supposedly “safe” Badger state twice in the next few days.  Partisan breakdown for that poll is 34 percent Democrat, 29 percent Republican, and 35 percent independent.

Obama is six points ahead in Iowa, 50 percent to Romney’s 44 percent, per NBC/WSJ/Marist. Partisan breakdown is 34 percent Democrat, 31 percent Republican, and 34 percent independent. And in New Hampshire, Obama is at 49 percent to Romney’s 47 percent, with a sample 26 percent Republican, 27 percent Democrat, and 47 percent independent.
