New Job To New Food Stamp Recipient Ratio: Surprising?

The Republicans on the Senate Budget Committee report that since the president’s inauguration, the number of people with jobs has grown by 0.15 percent and the number on food stamps has grown by 46 percent. So for every new person with a job, there are 75 new people getting food stamps.
