Winning with . . . Ted Kennedy?
A few quick words about my syndicated column this week: I do think a key question of this election is, on different fronts (political, cultural, interpersonal): How do we reach more people, already, with what we believe to be true? With what evidence suggests is true? With that which makes life worth living?
Things are bad. But if we can keep assisted suicide at bay in the Bay State alongside the widow of Ted Kennedy, maybe there is hope for politics yet. It’s an example of a coalition that came together without compromise.
Needless to say, I don’t look to endorse or canonize anyone here, but don’t you think it’s worth reflecting on an important win from last week as we find better ways to communicate foundational messages?
