Counting Struggles At Keystone Protest

It’s okay guys, math is hard.

Reuters reports that “hundreds” of environmental activists gathered around the White House to voice their grievances about the possibility of the construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline. “Sunday’s protest drew far fewer people than a rally a year ago against TransCanada Corp’s project, when thousands linked arms and encircled the White House,” writes Roberta Rampton. She adds, a few paragraphs down, that the protest’s organizers were pleased with turnout, which they estimated to be about 3,000. Hundreds? Thousands? Can we really know anything in this mixed-up world of ours?
