Democratic congressman Hank Johnson is calling for a constitutional amendment to control the “so-called free speech rights” of corporations. The Georgia congressman told a small group that the rights of corporations must be curtailed because they are “stealing” the government and “control the patterns of thinking” in America. His remarks were first reported by CNSNews. 

Johnson made headlines in 2010 when he argued, in a congressional hearing, that an influx of Marines to Guam would cause the island to “tip over and capsize.”
