Scarborough: Can’t Expect Obama to be ‘Gracious’ After Being Treated Like a ‘Second Class Citizen’

On today’s edition of Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough argued that it will be tremendously difficult for President Obama to be “gracious” in negotiations on the fiscal cliff because, over the past four years, he has been treated like a “second-class citizen” by a large portion of the country. “Then he wins a big victory and immediately he is hearing from people like us, ‘you’ve gotta be gracious,’” Scarborough said. He went on to note, “politics is sort of a rough and ugly game at times.”
