The Violence and Vandalism of Philadelphia’s Unions

Warning: These videos are violent and disturbing.

They depict an attack on an engineer who was attempting to enter an open-shop construction site in downtown Philadelphia. When he stepped between a chain link fence and a wall, union members rushed him, crushing him.

The assault was caught on security camera, and it was also filmed by the victim’s wife. It’s painful to watch and even worse to hear.

I’ve written a three-part series on this attack and others; as it turns out, union violence, vandalism, and harassment are common in Philadelphia. Read the first part here.
