Lew: ‘For Others to Judge’ the Morality of His Citigroup Bonus

Jack Lew said he will “leave for others to judge” the morality of the $945,000 bonus he received from his former employer Citigroup in 2009 — on top of a $2 million in base compensation — after the banking giant received a $45 billion taxpayer bailout.

“I was compensated for my work,” Lew said.
