Calling All Law Students and Leviathan Foes

Text

The Federalist Society will host its 32nd annual National Student Symposium, “The Federal Leviathan: Is There Any Area of Modern Life to Which Federal Government Power Does Not Extend?” It takes place March 1-2 at the University of Texas at Austin School of Law, and the tremendous speaker line-up includes John Allison, Richard Epstein, John Baker, and Sandy Levinson (they’ll be examining the growing size and scope of the federal government in multiple areas of law and policy). The symposium closes on Saturday night with a “Boots & BBQ Banquet” featuring Senator Ted Cruz as the keynote speaker. Students interested in attending the symposium are eligible for a 50% reimbursement on airfare. For complete information visit the Texas Federalist Society (and for updates visit the symposium Facebook page).
